Flipping through the pages of National Geographic as a kid, Chris ultimately became interested in the foreign worlds shown in photographs. Traditional life, alternate faiths, amazing architecture, and visions of Indiana Jones' adventures.
It was a visit to the Peruvian market in Pisac in 2005 when Chris discovered the possibilities and rewards of capturing portraits.
Although first leaving the US at 21 for a trip to China in 2000, Chris discovered his passion for travel and photography while living in Hawaii in 2003-4. He began trekking and realized he should capture what he was experiencing for family and friends.
